This small pottery vase is a fine example of the old Mourne Range produced by Wade of Ireland. The shape is classic and the rich, high gloss glaze is in the gray green colors that the Mourne Range is known for with the hint of blue showing through. On either side is a single flower that resembles a beautiful sunflower. Molded into the bottom is Made in Ireland - Porcelain Wade with the shamrock logo. There is also another line which begins Eire but I can’t make out the rest. I believe this line was done in the 1950’s-1970’s.
It measures about 3 ¾” high and the base measures about 2 1/8” in diameter. The small vase is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
