These old paperback books were part of the Singer Sewing Reference Library.
The first book is a guide to Tailoring. From shaping a jacket to lining, topstitching and buttonholes, it shows techniques for creating a garment with the look of a professional. It has 127 pages, including the index and it is full of color photos and written directions. It has a 1988 copyright date.
The second book is all about sewing with specialty fabrics. Some of the topics include sheer and silky fabrics, laces, corduroy and velvet, fake furs and knits. It has 128 pages, including the index and it is full of color photos and written directions. It has a 1986 copyright date.
The last book is a guide to quilting using a sewing machine. From general quilting topics like calculating yardage and selecting fabrics it discusses basic pieces, appliques, marking a quilt design and batting and backing. It has 128 pages, including the index and it is full of color photos and written directions. It has a 1990 copyright date.
They all have a copyright by Cy DeCosse, Inc in cooperation with the Sewing Education Dept. of the Singer Sewing Company.
They measure about 8 5/16” by 10 ¾” and are in good condition with minimal edge and corner wear. The inner pages are crisp and clean and in the spines are tight. The covers have minimal scuff wear.
