This small tree stand is made of aluminum and it comes with its original box. The four aluminum arms screw into the bottom edge of the aluminum cylinder to create the stand. There is a slotted screw on the side of the canister that can tighten against the tree trunk. This comes with the original cardboard box with Christmas graphics and a suggestion on how best to use the stand. It was manufactured by Grimland Bros. of Waco Texas. This company was apparently only in Waco a few years beginning in 1948 or 1949. This size of the stand would accommodate a very small tree, perhaps a feather tree.
Assembled the stand measures about 12” by 12 ¼” by 3 ½” high. The cylinder measures 2 7/8” high by 1 ¾” in diameter. It is in good condition with minor wear. The box measures about8 7/8” by 2 ¼” square. It is nice condition but it has edge, corner and crease wear and one flap has been torn of. There is also some side damage probably from the adjusting screw.
