This old figurine is representing the Cedar Waxwing, a bird which is commonly found in North America. It is a beautifully hand painted figure with detail given to the birds physical traits like the black mask and red droplets on the wing tips. In its beak is a berry and he is perched on a branch with leaves and berries as well. It is only marked with the bird species on the bottom and no maker. I believe it is from the 1950's - 1960's.
It measures about 2 7/8” high by 3 3/8” wide and is in very nice condition with minimal wear and no damage. There is a little paint wear to the top of his crest as shown in the photo.
