This old Hershey's tin was for Hershey’s Instant – Genuine Chocolate Flavor. It could be served hot or cold and all you had to do was add milk. Both sides of the tin have basically the same graphics with both a frothy glass of chocolate milk and a steamy cup of hot chocolate. The end panels have directions for making it either hot or cold with single serving and gallon measurements. The top has a pry out lid. It was manufactured by the Hershey Food Corp. in Pennsylvania and I believe it is from the 1960’s or 1970’s.
The one pound size tin measures about 5 ½” tall by 3 5/8” by 2 ¾” deep and it is in very nice condition with good color and gloss and minor scuff and scratch wear. There are a couple of places with paint loss such as shown in the photo close-up.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
