This is an old paper booklet with a showing of items that could be obtained using Nehi “crowns” but it is also a strong reminder to buy only “Genuine Nehi” and not be fooled by imitations. It’s fun to browse through to see the variety of things one could get by redeeming the “crowns” which I assume are the bottle caps. The Nehi leg pocket knife was 39c plus 39 crowns. A Boy Scout pocket knife was 66c & 66 crowns. An Official Little League baseball was 85c & 85 crowns as was a leather fielder’s glove. The most expensive item was the one piece overall in sizes 36-44 which was $1.50 & 150 crowns. The booklet is also full of little stories and line drawings all focused on Nehi and its soda bottle. On the back is a list of establishments in Oklahoma where you could pick up your premium on Wednesday of each week. I believe it is from the 1930’s or 1940’s.
It measures about 5 ½” by 8 ½” when closed. It has 6 sheets (12 pages including the front and back cover) and is very nice condition with minimal edge and crease wear. The staples are slightly rusted so the thin paper is weak around them and along the creased edge. There is faint evidence of some pencil writing on the upper right corner of the front page.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
