This is an incredible old booklet from the Polk Miller Products Corp. which made Sergeant dog medicines. The cover has a picture of Polk Miller with his dog Sergeant. The 48 pages are full of information regarding the care of dogs. There are sections about the many ailments that plaque dogs with the symptoms and treatment of each and of course there is a reference to and a price list for the medicines that were sold by the company. The back page has a picture of an attractive woman with beautiful hair sitting next to a dog. This is an ad for Sergeant’s Mange Medicine which was said to make a healthy scalp for growing healthy hair. This was the twelfth edition, revised and copyrighted in 1927.
It measures about 4 3/8” by 6 3/8” and is in fairly nice condition with light creases, edge and corner wear and some soiling and staining.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
