This little sterling spoon is an old souvenir of Montana. The front of the handle has a rider on a rearing horse. I can’t make out a saddle but it looks like there is a blanket. The rider appears to have something like a spear so it could be assumed that this is the image of an Indian on horseback. Reading down the handle is “Montana”. The inside of the bowl is plain, without decoration. The back of the handle has a decorative edging and is marked; Sterling. To the left of Sterling there is a logo which I have been unable to make out and to the left of Sterling is pointed line that has three branches at the other end. It could be a stiletto or arrow but I have been unable to identify either of the hallmarks. It looks like a dark patena has been used to better show the detail on the spoon.
It measures about 4 1/8” long and is in good condition with minimal wear. There is a small dent in the bowl.
