This is one of the prettiest little powder tins I have seen. It is an old sample of Dactylis Talc Powder from the Colgate company of New York. The front has a picture of a beautiful young girl with an art nouveau design on the front and back. The primary colors are cream, green and gold. The back side tells a little about the use of the powder. The lid turns to shake out the talc and both it and the cap are gold.
It measures about 2 3/16" tall and 1 1/4" wide and is in very nice condition with good color and gloss and minimal wear. There are a couple of very tiny flecks of paint gone and a very tiny dull spot on the front. The gold cap is bright and shiny. The gold is worn from the edge of the bottom.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
