This small wax coated cup was used by Dairy Queen to serve their soft serve ice cream which was often covered with a fruit topping or hot fudge topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The bonus with this little cup is that it features Dennis the Menace of cartoon and comic strip fame. Around the cup are images of Dennis and his friend Joey McDonald with a large banana big pineapple and blocks with the letters DQ. The signature copyright of Ketcham is present for the drawings but there is also a 1969 copyright by Am.D.Q. Corp. of Minnesota. The wax coated carton was made by the Lily Tulip division of Owens.
The cup measures about 3 ¾” in diameter at the top tapering to 3 1/8” at the bottom and it measures about 2 ½” high. It is in very nice, seemingly unused, condition. It has no lid.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
