This is a lot of old beads that would have been strung as a Christmas garland. The glass beads are assorted shapes and colors. Some look like, what is called, “mercury glass”, some of them are translucent, colored glass, some have paint on the inside and some have the color applied to the outside. Some are faceted balls with tapered cones on either end, and the pairs of silver beads are actually two attached balls as one bead. The other pieces are cylinders that are tapered at both ends and have four dotted lines around them. The colors include green, chartreuse, blue, gold and amber. The pieces are unstrung.
There are over 150 beads. They are shiny and colorful but show some wear. There are a few broken pieces and paint loss and wear. All that said they could brighten up a tree if they were strung or be fun to use for making some other holiday decorations.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
