This old leather wallet was made by Prince Gardner company of Missouri which was known for its high quality leather fashions for men and women. The folding billfold has a large compartment with a divider for paper bills, a snapped compartment on the left with a photo/credit card plastic sleeve insert two slots on the right for other flat papers or cards. It is embossed in gold with; Prince Gardner Registrar. Inside the wallet is all of the original paperwork like the Guarantee, Identification Cards and instructions for the “Show-A-Card Clip” that holds the photo/credit card sleeves. The wallet also comes with its original cardboard gift box and there is a white handkerchief in the bottom which may or may not have come with the wallet originally. I believe it is from the 1960’s.
The wallet measures about 3 ¼” by 9 ¼” when fully opened. It is in very good, unused condition. The box measures about 4” by 9 ¾” by ¾” and is in fair condition with a crease in the middle, light edge and corner wear and minor soiling.
