This old glass light shade would have been for a very small lamp. It is a slightly opalescent, pale custard color with a nice embossed design on the top and around the lower edge. This style of shade was made to clamp directly onto a standard light bulb. It has three depressions where little spring clips go. Unfortunately it has only two of the three clips, one is missing. It still sits on a bulb for effect but a bulb might get too hot, even a low watt one, for it to actually be used as a functional lamp.
The outside diameter measures about 3 3/8” and the inside diameter measures about 2 13/16”. It is approximately 2 1/8” high. It is in nice condition with generally minor wear and minor chips however there is one large chip that I have noted in the photos. Also, as previously stated, it is missing one of the brackets that clamps the shade onto a light bulb.
