This old coffee cup has the image of an old fire truck on one side. The truck looks like it is probably a Mack truck maybe a Type 45 from the 1940’s. On the hood of the pumper truck it reads; Arcata. That could be a reference to Arcata, California. The Arcata Station built a second story onto their fire house in 1956 which housed the dining room. This cup was made by the Sterling company and on the bottom is the mark of Sterling Vitrified China - East Liverpool Ohio - U.S.A. along with a date code for 1956. This correlation is only speculation but it is plausible with the information available.
It measures almost 2 ½” high and the top measures about 3 7/8” in diameter. It is in very good condition with minimal scuff wear and no damage. This does not come with a saucer.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
