This funny little boy doll looks like he was fashioned after one of the Beatles when the Fab Four were all the craze in the 1960’s. You can almost hear him singing I Want to Hold Your Hand with his shag hair being tossed about. His head and hands are vinyl but I am unsure of his cloth cover body since he has not been taken from the original plastic bag he came in. He is holding a guitar made of cardboard and he is attached to the base that is part of the bag. On the bottom of the base it is marked Made in Japan. He looks like some of the Herman Pecker and Forsum dolls but unless he is marked on the back of his head which I can’t see there is no identification.
The doll measures about 5 ¼” high and the base measures about 4 1/4” wide by 3” deep. The doll is in very good condition appearing to have never been out of the bag. The plastic bag is stiff and brittle and very slightly yellowed but it doesn’t appear to be damaged. The little plastic handle is also stiff and can’t be bent.
