This is a beautiful pair of old cuff links each with the profile of a young woman in a crescent moon. The woman has flowing locks of hair and pretty facial detail. The profile of each faces to the left. The outside edge is raised and is a polished silver tone. The inner oval is yellow gold tone and recessed with the detail in relief which gives these a classic look. They have a curved, two point post with what is called a stationary bean back. These smooth, oval “beans” are silver colored on the outer side and gold colored on the inner side to match the post and cuff back. The post on each is marked SBCo which is for the Standard Button Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts which was in operation from 1909 - 1922. Otherwise, these are not marked and I am not going to scratch or mar them by testing for gold or silver content so they are being sold as gold filled or rolled gold with silver colored accents and of good quality. They do vary slightly in color but not as drastically as the photos show.
The oval measures about ½” by ¾” and they are in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
