This little pitcher is piece of vintage restaurant china. It is smaller than what is typically thought of as a gravy boat but might have been used for something rich like hollandaise sauce. The white china is decorated with stylized English ivy leaves in greens and grays on both sides of the pitcher. The top edge and the handle have a dark green pinstripe. The bottom is marked; Shenango China – New Castle, Pa. – USA - Y19 which is the date code for the 1st half of 1961. There is also the number 59 which MAY be the pattern number but I’ really don’t know for sure.
It measures about 6 7/8” from handle to spout and it measures about 4” high at the handle. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage and no stains.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
