This little stickpin has a lovely art nouveau design and is enhanced with enameling. The background is a pale lavender which frames the profile of a young woman. Her face is ivory enamel with pink blushed cheeks and pale green highlights. Her flowing hair is the natural silver. There is a small raised design to the left side which looks like a simplistic flower. The outer edge is detailed to look like tiny silver beads. The back is stamped Sterling. The pin itself is twisted in the center to hold it snuggly in place so it takes no clutch. It is also stamped Sterling. I believe this is from the early 1900’s.
The decorative portion measure about ½” in diameter and overall it measures about 2 ¼” in length. It is in very good condition with no noted damage.
