This sterling thimble has a small and simple scroll design around the edge of the opening. On the plain panel above the scroll it is faintly marked; Sterling along with the hallmark that I believe to be the Goldsmith Stern Co. of N.Y. from the early 1900’s. It has a small "s" and a small "c" within a large "G". It is also marked with the number 11 which is likely the size.
It measures about 11/16” high and about 5/8” in diameter and it is very nice with no holes in the stippled area and minimal wear.
