This packet of old hand tinted views of Philadelphia would have been mailed like a postcard only instead of just one view it has Twenty Scenes. They show the beauty of Philadelphia with its amazing architecture and historical landmarks. Among the sights are the Washington Monument, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House adorned with American flags and the home of William Penn. There are also several bridges, schools and government buildings. They come in the folded packet that would have been addressed, stamped and mailed, probably in the 1920’s.
The mailer measures about 3 5/8" by 2 3/8" and is in good condition minimal edge wear. There are two tears on the flap and the slit it fits into. The pictures measure about 3 ½” by 2 1/4” and are in very good condition with minimal wear.
