This is an old angel figurine that would have probably been brought out at Christmas time. The little angel is wearing a dress highlighted with pink and trimmed with “fur” that is dark but glittery like mica. She has a sweet face closed eyes and an open mouth as though she’s singing while she plays the mandolin she’s holding. She has blonde hair with ponytails tied with ribbons. Her wings are large and up swept and they and the stringed instrument are accented with gold. On the bottom it is marked; F128. It is probably a Norcrest piece, made in Japan in the 1950’s or 1960’s.
She measures about 3 3/8” tall and is in good condition with no damage and minimal wear. There is a spot, just above her bare toe, where the glitter has worn off.
