This is a very small porcelain half doll for a pincushion. The young woman has a simply painted face with lightly blushed cheeks. Her long gray curls fall onto her shoulders and a little green hat with lavender accents is worn to the front of her head. Her arms are folded and crossed at her bosom. At her tiny waist on the back is an incised number that is blurred but appears to be 5577. Below the number it appears to be incised Germany. I believe she is from the early 1900’s. She is so cute because of her size and she would be a perfect doll house accessory sewn to a pincushion and displayed on a lady’s dressing table.
She measures about 2” tall and is very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
