This old tin was a place for keeping the used razor blades without discarding them in a fashion that would has harm to fingers. The little tin looks like a small treasure chest and it would have sat on the bathroom sink or possibly been kept in the medicine cabinet. The slot on the top of the domed lid reads; For Old Blades. The opposing sides of the brown and gold tin read; Ever-Ready – The Blades You Treasure. There is information on the bottom but it is hard to read because of the scratch wear.
It measures about 2” wide by 1” deep and 1 ¾” high. It is in fair condition with good gloss but there are scratches, blemishes and edge wear. There is also paint residue on one side as well as a few speckles on the top. As previously stated the bottom is worn.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
