This old sterling thimble was probably used by a little girl in the early 1900’s. It has a simple design with a plain band and a small tooled band with diagonal lines and small circles. It is marked; Sterling along with the hallmarks that I believe are for the Goldsmith Stern Co. of N.Y. and Philadelphia. It has a small "s" and a small "c" within a large "S" and also has the “fouled” anchor wish would date it to the 1890-1908 period. It is also marked with the number 7 which I believe is the size.
Overall condition is nice with no holes in the stippled area minimal wear to the detailed edge. It measures about 3/4" high and about 11/16" in diameter.
