This old sterling thimble has a stylized fan design covering three quarters of the band with a beaded line just above the bottom edge. I believe it was made by the Ketcham & McDougall company of New York and New Jersey. It appears to be stamped 10 which I believe is the size. Inside the crown is the K-McD trademark and the word; Sterling.
It measures about 7/8” high and about 11/16” in diameter and is in nice condition with minor scratch wear from needle work. There are no holes in the stippling and it is not mis-shappen.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
