This colorful old postcard features the historic Liberty Bell with is infamous crack. To the right of the bell is a depiction of Independence Hall in Philadelphia. The following quote is beneath the image of the building “Proclaim Liberty throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants thereof”. This was probably printed in the 1940’s and could have been sent as a July 4th Greetings. It has a linen finish and was published by Asheville Post Card Company. There is no correspondence, stamp or postmark on the back.
It measures about 3 7/16” by 5 7/16” and is very nice condition with minimal edge and corner wear.
