This pair of old dice are from the Palace Club that was a long running casino in Reno Nevada. Apparently the Palace Club was in operations from the late 1800’s until the 1970’s and apparently "Slot Machine Johnny" Petricianni owned this club during the heyday of the 1940’s. This pair of dice appear to be made of a translucent, red plastic like Lucite. The pips, or dots, are flat to the surface in an off white or cream color. Each die has a depiction of the casino with the Palace Club Reno marquee in green and gold on the two-spot side. On the one spot side it reads; Palace Club Reno around the pip. The two dice have a slightly textured band on some of the sides (almost like tape residue) and appear to have been seldom if ever used.
They measure about ¾” square and are in good condition with sharp edges and minimal handling wear.
