This demitasse cup and saucer is made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. This is the Plainsman Pattern which was originally introduced in 1948 as the Oklahoma pattern. It has the light Ada clay so it dates between 1948 and 1954. I believe this is their Desert Gold color but it is a richer creamy golden yellow glaze than on some of the later pieces. The bottom of the cup is marked with FRANKOMA in small block letters.
The cup measures about 2 1/4" tall and 2 3/8" in diameter excluding the handle. The saucer is not marked and measures about 4 5/8" in diameter. They are both in very good condition showing almost no wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
