This sweet little elf is an old Josef Original figure from the Wee Folks collection. This is a series of painted figures rather than the typical, high glaze porcelain pieces. He has a naïve pixie face and is holding a basket with two little chicks and one un-hatched egg. He has his Josef Originals foiled paper sticker on the back of his overalls but does not have the Japan label. He also comes with his original string tag. Inside the hang tag is the old saying; Don’t count your chickens Before they hatch.
He measures about 4 1/2” tall and is in very nice condition with good color, minimal wear and no damage. The tag has crease, edge and corner wear but is not torn.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
