This diecast toy is fashioned after 1932 Ford sedan that was utilized in the 1930’s for delivering Texaco products. The panel truck is made of both die cast metal and plastic. It is painted creamy white and red and feature the Texaco decal on the doors. The sides have a decal that reads; The Texas Company - Petroleum & Its Products. The front grill and the hub caps have a little V-8 emblem. The black rubber tires have the Ertl name. Stamped into the plastic bottom it reads; The Ertl Co. - Dyersville, Iowa USA - Made in China - Replica “Ford” (in script)- 1932 Ford Delivery Van. There is a coin slot on the top and a removable door on the bottom. It would have had a small plastic key but the key is missing.
It measures about 6 ½” in length, 2 5/8” across the front fenders and about 2 7/8” high. The paint is in very good condition with minimal wear and the decals are good also. The rubber tires are cracked and split from age. It does NOT come with the key and it does NOT come with the original box.
