This old watch fob is commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of California. The front is nicely detailed with a cityscape in the background which might represent Sacramento in the 20’s, a miner panning for gold in a stream and a bear perched on a rock above the little inset that I believe is the seal of the state that reads; Eureka. Across the top it reads; California Diamond Jubilee 1925 and at the bottom there is a tiny copyright symbol. On the back it is marked; Whitehead - Hoag - San Francisco. I would assume it to be brass or bronze. The last picture shows the detail better but the other pictures depict the color most accurately.
It measures about 1 3/8" in length with the loop at the top and 1 1/4" across. It is in very nice but used condition with a light spot across the top portion where the wording is. It does not come with a leather strap.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
