This colorful old recipe booklet contains lots of Jell-O recipes with beautiful and colorful pictures. The cover features a young woman sitting at a kitchen table going over her account book Boxes of Jell-O are among the few item sitting on the table. The title of the booklet is “For Economy Use Jell-O America’s Most Famous Dessert. The first page of the booklet explains the reasons for using Jell-O, among them being a “matter of economy”. The following pages have a variety of recipes for desserts, salads, creams, relishes and more. It has a copyright date of 1920 by the Genesse Pure Food Company. There is also a colorful added insert advertising Jell-O Ice Cream Powder with recipes and suggestions for its use.
It measures about 4 3/16” by 6 1/8” and is in nice condition with minor edge wear and soiling. The spine edge is partially torn.
