This old souvenir plate features Ohio’s state bird, the cardinal and the state flower, the scarlet red carnation. The plate has the name of the artist, d. rudeman and a copyright by AACO which was the American Art Ceramic Company. The edge is decorated with a gold filigree design and there is nothing on the back.
It measures about 9 ¼” in diameter and is in very good condition with minimal wear to the decal and no damage to the plate. There is some scuff where on the back which might be from a metal hanging plate rack.
