This is a fun Hickok belt because it features the famous cowboy Roy Rogers and his stallion Trigger. The leather belt has a slightly embossed stamped design that covers the length of the belt. There are several images of Roy’s profile and Trigger’s profile framed by loops of a lasso, a cowboy on horseback and another of a cowboy pulling on the rope of a horse. Roy Rogers’ signature is between several of the images and there are two sections of the belt that have four brass studs and a green plastic cabochon jewel set in a brass bezel. The metal buckle and strap keeper are silvertone and the buckle is stamped with an image of Roy’s face. The backside is stamped; Roy Rogers by Hickok and there is a copyright symbol. I don’t see a size on it.
The belt measures about 1” wide and 34” without the buckle which measures about 2” by 1 1/8”. There are five holes for size adjustments and none of the holes are overly worn. The silver colored plating is worn off much of the relief of the buckle and the plastic jewels have scuffs. Overall it is in very nice but used vintage condition with minor wear and no damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
