This colorful old postcard features the totem pole in Pioneer Square in Seattle, Washington. The prestigious pole stands 50 feet high and this depiction of it is quite colorful. From the look of the buses I think the card is probably from the 1930’s. The back has a brief description about the pole’s history. It has a linen finish and was published by Adams News Co. and the card is identified as a; Genuine Curteich-Chicago “C.T.Art-Colortone” Post Card. There is no correspondence, stamp or postmark on the back.
It measures about 3 ½” by 5 ½” and is nice condition with minor edge, corner and crease wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
