This vintage booklet is beautifully illustrated by Lungers Hausen and is apparently an advertising booklet for the Rheinische Gummi und Celluloid Fabrik company of Germany. The cover references Schildkrot-Puppen and also has the turtle trade mard well known to celluloid doll collectors. The inside pages have wonderful colored illustrations of children, little celluloid toys and of course, celluloid dolls. It would appear that each illustrated page also includes a short story, presumably about the doll or the children featured. I am not certain of the contents because the entire booklet appears to be written in German. One page even has the celluloid dolls at the beach and you can see the turtle mark on the backs of two of them. Stamped on the bottom of the back page is probably a store where toys and dolls were sold. It has about 24 pages and I believe it is from the 1930’s - 1950’s period.
It measures about 5” by 6 1/8” and is very nice condition with light edge and corner wear.
