This is a very nice old cookbook called The Household Searchlight Recipe Book. It was published by The Household Magazine of Topeka, Kansas. This one is from 1944 and is the 17th Edition of this popular book. It covers all of the basics of cooking including methods, measurements, equivalents and terms besides having recipes covering everything from appetizers to desserts and all the course in between and then some. It has 320 pages with tab page edges and an index in the back. It has no pictures but all of the recipes are easy to understand.
It measures about 6 7/8” x 10 ¼” x 1” and is in good, used condition. Most of the pages are crisp and clean but a couple are soiled as shown in the photos. The cover shows minimal edge and corner wear. The tabs are lightly soiled and curled but intact and the spine is still tight.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
