This is an old whiskey nip made by the Schafer & Vater company of Germany in the early 1900's. On the front of the tall, slender flask is a long stemmed glass with a pretty young girl resting in the bowl. She's wearing a pair of black, gartered stockings and an off the shoulder camisole and she's holding a pink rose. This is done on a brown background that has the look of wood with knots. Although it is smeared, Made in Germany is stamped on the bottom. This does not appear to have the S & V crown mark but I have owned this piece before where the mark was evident. It has its original porcelain cap on the cork closure.
It measures about 6 1/4" high and 2" wide at the base and is in very good condition with no damage.
