This old bakelite ring box is simple in design with small ribs running down the front and back and a small flower in a square on the top. The color is quite unusual. It is sort of brown, almost like an avocado that has turned. Inside the little jewelry box is a cream colored velveteen insert with two slots in which to display an antique wedding ring set. The back slot is wider than the front one and it could accommodate a wide wedding band. The fabric insert in the hinged lid is advertising the Diamond Shop of Boise, Idaho. On the bottom it reads. Made in U.S.A.
It measures about 1 ¾” wide by 2 1/8” deep and 1 3/8” high when closed. It is in nice condition showing minor exterior scuff wear. It has a tight hinge and closes well. There is some light wear and soiling to the fabric.
