This fun old postcard is a Valentine of sorts being decorated with hearts and a poem. The blonde young lady is caressing a baby in a long flowing christening gown. The caption reads; I “Wastefulness” abominate: It almost drives me wild – To see the girl with whom I’d mate, Waste kisses on a child. It is from the Life Comic Series No2 with a copyright by the Williamson-Haffner Co. of Denver. It has no postmark, stamp or correspondence on the back. I believe it is from the early 1900’s.
It measures 3 ½” by 5 ½” and is in fairly good condition with some edge and corner wear and minor soiling.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
