This is an old Greist Buttonholer - Model #7. According the chart on the bottom of the box, this particular model is intended for is for High Bar - Left Needle Position Zig-Zag and Automatic Sewing Machines.
The body of the attachment is metal with a plastic housing and knob on the top. It comes with a total of five plastic cams; 5/16”, 5/8” 13/16”, & 1 1/16” for straight buttonholes and a 1 1/16” for keyhole type holes. It also comes with the knurled screw for attaching it to the sewing machine, the feed cover plate and screw, and the original instruction booklet, all in its original box. The instruction booklet is dated 1966.
The attachment is in very good condition with minimal wear. The cardboard box measures about 3 ¾” by 7 ¼” by 2 ¼” and is in fairly good condition with some edge and corner wear and a small tear on the top of the lid.
