This old cologne bottle is made clear glass with hand painted detailing and a simple cut design. It has a silver colored screw on cap with a chased design that has a deco influence. The reservoir portion of the perfume bottle is divided into three panels by the painted lines and each section is cut with two diagonal lines and two circles. The stem is simple and the base has a black line accent around the edge. A fabric covered atomizer bulb screws to the cap. I find no maker on either the cap or the glass but it is a nicely made piece and I would imagine it is from the 1930’s or 1940’s.
It measures about 6 ½” tall and the base measures about 2 ¼” in diameter. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear and no chips or cracks in the glass. The glass tube inside is intact. I am pretty sure the bulb is a replaced one and it was put on poorly so the stop is frayed as seen in the photos. It is empty but the fragrance is still strong when the lid is off.
