This is an old glass jar of Dusharme - “The Pearl of Hair Cremes”. The little milk glass jar has a screw on metal lid with the image of a pair of hands holding a sphere, probably representing a pearl, with the image of a young woman with a fancy up do. The edge of the lid has instructions and states that this was the “Purse Size”. This was manufactured by Dusharme Products of Minnesota, the same company the that made Dab hair dressing for men. I believe it is from the 1950’s and it still contains its original, petroleum smelling product.
It measures about ¾” high and 1 5/8” in diameter and is in good condition with minimal wear. Although the product is still in the jar it is not suggested that it is still good or that it should be used,
