These old Vernon Kilns dinner plates in the #836 Linda pattern on the Montecito shape. It has a boldly colored floral pattern with a wide stripe around the outer rim. This pattern was produced in the 1940’s and is similar to the pattern called Linda, without the number #836 pattern. This pattern has a little more detail, especially on the leaves and the color is a bit richer than Linda. The outer stripe is also narrower on the Linda plate. and the overall diameter is slightly larger. I have both of the other variations listed and have included a picture showing the other two patterns with this one for comparison, the center one is one of the pair in this listing, these two are also larger in diameter than the others. On the bottom these are marked; Hand Painted - Under Glazes - Vernon Kilns - Calif. - Made in U.S.A. - 836 Linda.
They measure about 10 7/16” in diameter and are both in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
Priced and sold as the pair (2).
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
