This is an old Vernon Kilns dinner plate in the Linda pattern on the Montecito shape. It has a boldly colored floral pattern with a wide stripe around the outer rim. This pattern was produced in the 1940’s and is similar to the #836 pattern. The #836 pattern has a little more detail than the Linda pattern, especially on the leaves and the color is a bit softer. The outer stripe is also narrower on the Linda plate and the overall diameter is slightly larger. I have included two pictures showing the two patterns together for comparison. On the bottom it is marked; Under Glaze - Hand Painted - Linda - Vernonware - California U.S.A.
It measures about 9 3/4” in diameter and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
