This is a sweet example of a motto poem in its original frame. The poem is titled Your Anniversary but the words would make a beautiful wedding toast as well. This was written by Edgar A. Guest, a popular poet in the first half of the 20th century. At the bottom of the poem is a simple scene of a young couple in a tranquil setting by a quaint bridge. The outer edge of the page has a faint ribbon and flower design. Along the bottom edge it reads; The Buzza Co. with a 1939 copyright. It is framed in the original wood frame with glass over the print. The frame is painted silver with a thin turquoise accent. It has its original paper back with a small hanger at the top. This appears to have been a gift with the names of the givers signed on the back and the date of June 22- 42.
It measures almost 8 5/8” by 10 5/8” and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. The glass is intact with no damage and the painted frame shows minor edge wear. The paper on the back shows wear with a few tears.
