This white bakelite ring box has a decorative lid with a gold painted panel in the center with raised lettering that reads; Princess. Inside the old jewelry box is a turquoise fabric insert with a wide slot that will easily display two rings and probably came with an antique wedding ring set. Across the front edge it reads; Registered – Insured. The fabric insert in the hinged lid has a strip of ribbon that reads; Princess. There are no markings on the bottom.
It measures about 2 ¾” wide by almost 1 ¾” deep and 1 3/8” high when closed. It is in nice condition showing generally minor wear. The fabric is minimally soiled and it has a tight hinge. There is a small nick on the left front edge of the plastic lid and a very faint, hairline crack which I have shown in the photo. This has been taken into consideration in the price.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
