This old thimble is made of sterling silver and is decorated with a band of guilloche enamel. The band has a pale blue green background decorated one two sides with a dark pink flower that looks like a rose or peony and green leaves. The eight pointed daisy flower on the crown of the thimble suggest that it was made by the Gabler Brothers Co. of Germany. The stippled area is stamped STER/LING – GER/MANY - 6. I’m assuming the 6 denotes the size since I find no other indication of size on it.
It measures about 15/16” high and about 11/16” in diameter and is in very nice condition with minimal wear. There are no holes in the stippling.
