This wonderful miniature grand piano is an old wind up music box and an advertising display piece for Speidel Watch Bands. The piano appears to be made of mahogany and the legs are a molded plastic made to look like wood. The keys appear to be a painted wood and are not operable. The Speidel name is written above the keyboard. On the inside of the hinged lid it reads; "your watch looks grand with a Speidel band". Inside is a velvet inset with four metal, expandable watch bands, three of which are marked Speidel. When the music mechanism is wound and the lid is closed the music box plays Stardust. On the bottom there is still an original paper label from Syracuse N.Y.- Syroco Wood.
Overall the finish and condition are very nice. It does appear that one of the front legs has been re glued and it removed some of the finish along the right side of the piano. It measures about 6" high by 9 1/4" wide by 9 1/4" deep.
