This is a fun old battery operated toy with Santa sitting on the roof of a very small tin house with a large chimney to his side. When put into action Santa's eyes light up and he rocks his head back and forth while he rings the bell in his right hand and raises and lowers the presents in his left hand. This is considered a four action toy that uses 2 "D" cell batteries. It is marked; Made in Japan at the base of the chimney. The lid of the box has colorful illustrations of Santa on all of its sides. It also has a round "window" with the original cellophane. Santa's face sort of shows through the window when he's packed in the box.
His velveteen suit is in nice condition but shows a little wear on either side of his head where the glue has seeped through and on his back wear the tabs are. He has a vinyl face which is in good condition and has good color. The outside of the little tin house shows very little wear. Inside the battery box has some rust but it is not affecting the operation of the toy which works well.
It measures about 8" tall and the base measures about 3 3/4" by 3". The box measures about 8 1/4" by 6 3/4" by 4 3/4" and shows minor wear.
